"A big, big, big, BIG thank you for giving me the funniest, loveliest, most exciting, interesting, fabulous, magnificent, food-filled, wine-bursting six weeks that I've ever, ever had. I just can't believe we saw so much in so little time."

Accomodation and meals

Accommodation
In common with all our courses, we stay in hotels which have great locations, some unusual aspect of charm and in the heart of the cities we visit. While in Sicily we stay in an 18th century palazzo in Palermo and in Syracuse a friendly, family run pensione. In Amalfi, we will be a stones throw from the fantastic coastline, whilst in Naples we will be at the Hotel Neapolis in the heart of the city. In Rome the hotel is the Casa San Giuseppe in the heart of Trastevere.
Meals and pocket money
It seems unadventurous to eat the evening meal in the hotel when all around one can eat very well in modest trattorie. For lunch, we generally buy a picnic. We suggest that students should bring £30 per day to cover the cost of lunch, supper and incidental spending.
