"Obviously I'm left with wonderful memories and great photographs. But AHA has given me something much more special than that: not just an intense love for Italy and everything that it encompasses, but also a genuine yearning for both knowledge and new experiences in general. I find myself utterly enthusiastic about the rest of my gap year, what university has to offer and everything beyond."

Contemporary London Courses

This course maps out the mind bending concepts of modern art. Taught by artists and architects at the sharp end of creation today, students will come to understand why contemporary culture is so exciting and occasionally frustrating. We are lucky to live in such a vibrant age when London and British art is going through something of a purple patch. Yet strangely, this course is unique - especially a course which achieves access to the studios of artists and architects.

This course is excellent for those aiming for the arts, media or architecture; indeed it would be excellent for students of any academic discipline, who are not content to ignore the aesthetics of their own time. It is open to students from the lower sixth to post graduate. Such a non curricular course also adds lustre to the personal statement of a UCAS form.
