"A big, big, big, BIG thank you for giving me the funniest, loveliest, most exciting, interesting, fabulous, magnificent, food-filled, wine-bursting six weeks that I've ever, ever had. I just can't believe we saw so much in so little time."

                                      LONDON DAYS AND COURSES

                                   rosebalston

'By seeing London, I have seen as much of life as the world can show'.  Dr Samuel Johnson.

London, arguably the greatest city in the world, is a town that many of us have lived in or near, but don't really know.  Rose Balston will bring the art, culture and architecture to life, explaining why sites are important and how better to appreciate London's rich historyIn small groups (generally 8 or fewer) you will be given an insight that will spark your imagination and allow you to enjoy our glorious treasures close to home.  Rose studied Art History at Edinburgh and has taught for Art History Abroad for four years.  Music, another of her passions, finds its way into much of her teaching.

'Without Rose I would understand almost nothing of London.  She was so engaging.  She spoke directly to me, and not as a tour guide.  A day with Rose is wonderful value and much valued in my memory'. Nicholas Milligan
