Scheduled Adult Courses
The realm of experience of AHA, particularly in Italy, is enormous and we run extremely good tours. Our scheduled tours are welcoming and open to all. Some may come as couples, others as part of a career break, some as part of a continuing course of study. Each tour is carefully arranged around a period or theme and we exercise our experience to make the best use of your time. There is time to relax too, to shop or be spontaneous, taking in opera, concerts or even the rugby. Each tour is devised in such a way that it will fit with other AHA tours. A summary and short reading list will be issued in advance, notes will be provided during the tour and a further reading list will be provided on our return. For those who wish to, an AHA tour can be built upon to form the greater pattern of European Art. For those who wish for a relaxing holiday, you should not be put off by this structure, it is unobtrusive and may even lend a sense of stimulating purpose. A Gap Year Course for all Grown Ups.
Are you over 30 and at a loose end? Single? Married? Divorced? In need of an infusion of beauty, intellectual stimulation and good company?
For years we have been asked whether we offer the AHA experience to adults. To this end we have put together a series of week long courses covering the most popular parts of Italy. Come with us for just one week or build your own Gap experience. Our idea is that over time it would be possible to complete our 'Grand Tour' but without the need for endless time off.
Italy has so much to offer. The most beautiful architecture, the most wonderful works of Art, the most delicious food and the most enticing shops. Immerse yourself in its culture and escape with us.
If you can imagine a day of looking at wonderful art and architecture guided gently by an engaging and stimulating tutor, punctuated by glasses of prosecco in sunlit piazzas and glorious suppers in atmospheric trattorie then AHA is for you.
