"Obviously I'm left with wonderful memories and great photographs. But AHA has given me something much more special than that: not just an intense love for Italy and everything that it encompasses, but also a genuine yearning for both knowledge and new experiences in general. I find myself utterly enthusiastic about the rest of my gap year, what university has to offer and everything beyond."
Mary-Jane Wiltshire, Autumn 2005
Weekend Breaks
Annually great exhibitions take place around Europe. Some of them are truly remarkable and this generation will not see the like again. When such exhibitions come up AHA organises a short break to go and take them in. Last year we went to Parma to see the Correggio exhibition where they had build platforms into the famous domes he had painted. It was magical, unique and a great moment in this writers life. These short trips are keenly priced to be inclusive.
Currently, we have no weekends arranged - but please contact us if you would like to be kept up to date with our proposals.
Other previous weekends have included;
Venice, La Biennale, July 2009
Rome, Alumni Trip for all ex Gap Year Course Students, January 2009
