"They say there is no such thing as a perfect moment but when we stepped into the Sistine Chapel, deserted, standing empty just for us, it wasn't just a perfect moment but a mind-blowing, perfect hour. What more can I say other than, thank you with all my heart for a truly life-changing trip."
LF Gap Year Course 2007
Wren Vs Rogers, Square Mile Architecture

The City of London is an architecturally fascinating square mile. One is constantly thrilled by the contrasts of modern and old. 3 of London's most iconic and avant guard buildings are Christopher Wren's St Paul's Cathedral, the Lloyd's Building of Rogers, and Foster's Gherkin. Whilst marvelling at these structures, you will learn about their histories, the technical hurdles these 3 British architects had to face, their impact and much more. Our time in the morning will be devoted to the creation of Wren, including a trip down into the Crypt and up to the Whispering and Golden Galleries. After lunch we will travel in time to the 21st century and study these modern buildings that have kept London on the architectural map.
