Art History Abroad's six week course is a lifetime experience, travelling throughout Italy studying at first hand many masterpieces of Italian art which form the foundations of western civilization. AHA has pulled out all the stops to ensure that this programme is second to none. We continue to break new ground, always looking to improve this intoxicating recipe of education, exhilaration, great times and life changing moments. In addition to 5 gap year courses per year AHA runs several shorter summer courses.
A note from the Director
AHA's courses are essentially about the wonders of Italian art. However, tutors inevitably draw connections between art, philosophy, music, literature or history, so, effectively, we teach Civilization. This is the unexpected value of AHA. It is only possible because tutorials are on site, in small groups where discussion is essential.
