The Rossettis
St James the Less Church and Tate Britain
Coffee · Lecture · Lunch · Exhibition
18th May 2023
Discover the romance and the radicalism of the Rossetti generation; Dante Gabriel, Christina and Elizabeth. It will be the largest exhibition of Dante Gabriel Rossetti’s iconic pictures in over twenty years. The exhibition not only explores the painterly output of these fascinating artists, but also their approach to life as a whole. We’ll explore spoken poetry, drawings, paintings, photography, design, as well as the infamously unconventional relationships between Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Elizabeth Siddal, Fanny Cornforth and Jane Morris.
The lecture by Dr Richard Stemp will prepare you for the exhibition so that you can make the most of your time in the gallery and gain the greatest insight into the works. Please join us for lunch afterwards at Osteria Dell’Angolo.
