Live and Online Lecture

Beau Brummell
Cutting a New Aesthetic Line

By Ian Kelly

Wednesday 17th June at 6pm

We are running a series of live and online lectures and we do hope you will bring an aperitivo and join us for an hour before dinner. We have chosen subjects to stimulate new interests and conversation, ready for the imminent return to socializing. We invite you to join 15 minutes early to hear information on AHA’s plans for the future and there will be time for questions and answers at the end.

Beau Brummell – Cutting a New Aesthetic Line

We are delighted that the actor and author Ian Kelly is coming back to AHA for our Live and Online lecture.  Once again we will be able to enjoy Ian’s stylish combination of social history, tender biography and contemporary insight of a misunderstood figure in history. Take it from Byron, we should all know a little about Brummell:

“There are three great men of our age, myself, Napoleon and Brummell, but of we three, the greatest of all is Brummell”
