Alumni are invited to subscribe to our newsletter to keep in touch with us, keep up their interest in art history and keep the memory of their AHA course alive! We also like to feature alumni and their life stories on our blog, so do let us know what you’re up to and if you still love art history.

Sponsorship, Partnerships and Giving

Art History Abroad is in the process of setting up a foundation to enable more scholars to join our courses. Watch this space.

Current charitable giving:

We have offered our own Art History Abroad Scholarship since 1998 – entry is by essay competition.

We are delighted to announce that, for 2019, AHA will be offering two musical scholarships for young students, for music written or performed in front of a panel of judges. The winner will gain a place on the 2019 “Florence with a Twist” Course.  Keep your eyes peeled and your ears pricked for further information.

Since 2015, we have also been co-sponsors of the SPoKE Competition, an art documentary competition from those in Yrs 11, 12 and 13.  Any one work may be chosen as the subject of a 5 – 7 minute film.

We have been a major supporter of the ARTiculation prize since 2015 – a public speaking competition, ARTiculation works across England, Scotland, Ireland and Italy.

We are a Silver Member of the Easel Initiative, a social mobility initiative set up to help further equal opportunity and accessibility within the art industry and support and encourage people of all backgrounds to consider it a viable career choice.

We are a proud Patron and an Angel Sponsor of the New Generation Festival  in Florence.  Read Director Nick’s account of our 2018 trip.
